Award for Painting

Awarded to Jacqueline Hill of Art at Heart, one of the top 12 out of 300 entries.

 

 

Brisbane City Council launched a competition for artists to paint Traffic Signal Boxes in late 2001.

Each artist had to have their design approved, and 300 signal boxes were entered in the competition.

  At the Awards Presentation on 7th December 2001 Jacqueline was presented with an award. She won one of the top 12 awards (out of 300 boxes) called the "Traffic Stopper Awards".
